How much for a plumber for 3 hours?
We do not sell plumbing by the hour, so there is no three hour rate. You get one price for the whole job, in writing, after a free look.
Hourly billing leaves you carrying the risk. If the shutoff is seized, the part is the wrong size or the job just takes longer, the meter keeps running and you pay for every extra minute.
A fixed written price moves that risk to us. Once it is written, the number holds. The only time it changes is when opening a wall or a floor turns up something nobody could see, and then we stop and price that part before carrying on.
If you were planning to book three hours to work through a list, send us the list instead. A dripping tap, a running toilet and a slow shower drain can be looked at together and priced on one estimate.
You end up knowing the total before anyone starts, which an hourly rate can never tell you.
Want it looked at?
Write down every job on your list and send it with the form. We will price the lot in one go.
