How fast can you get to a burst pipe or a backed-up drain?
A burst pipe or a drain backing up into the house is scheduled within 48 hours, during business hours, ahead of routine work. So is a house with no hot water.
Routine jobs, like a dripping tap or a fixture swap, wait their turn. Urgent ones move up the list. When the visit is booked you are given a time, and that time is kept or you get a call.
The first ten minutes are yours, and they matter more than how fast any plumber drives. Find the main shutoff and close it. Open the lowest tap in the house to let the pressure off. If the drains are backing up, stop running water, stop flushing and keep the washing machine off.
Move anything that can be ruined out of the way, and keep away from a ceiling that is bulging with water.
Requests that come in after 7:00 PM are answered the next morning during business hours. We do not offer an overnight service, which is exactly why knowing where your shutoff is matters.
